hdloader or hd advance

    i am getting a maxtor 120gb hdd and i want to know which one is better

    i noticed hdloader is cheaper so i might get that

    what is the difference between each program

    There is no difference what so ever apart from the fact you can install backups on to the hdd.

    also are there many games that dont work for them and if they dnt work are there patches that work for each of them

    its true some games wont work with them, but at the mo the list isnt huge

    simple way is put games onto the hdd that are compatable, and if there not burn them to dvd and load it with a mod chip or swap magic

    to load hd loader from that site you would need a ps2 mod

    can i still download hdloader and run it if i dnt have a modchip

    no you need some form of mod, like swap magic with a fliptop etc

    simply because this would be a backup and as you know a ps2 doesnt read backups

    If you get Swap Mgic then you could make a exploit (my fav word) with a dvd9 patched hdloader that will let you play the likes of god of war, gt4 and xenosaga.
