I am going to buy a 360 soon and I want to plug it into the HDMI on my TV. I will probably buy a AmazonBasics HDMI cable since the MS cable costs too much. The MS HDMI cable has another plug for audio, which the Amazon plug does not (just the HDMI plug). I am not going to buy the MS cable but do I need this audio plug for my sound to work, or will sound from my 360 play fine with the Amazon plug? Thanks
the HDMI cable will have sound to your HDTV only,,if you have a reciver that you can plug a HDMI into and another HDMI out to you HDTV,,you will have 7.1 surround sound from your reciver,,thats what i have and the gameplay is so cool,,its like you are right in the game,,hope this helps,,
