HDTV ready but need tuner

Hello everyone. I have a Hyundai Imagequest 32" that's HDTV Ready and need some type of tuner to get my local HD channels through cable. I have Time Warner here in Wisconsin, and a guy at work told me that if I get a seperate HDTV tuner with QAD I can get the local HD channels. I've done a search on the internet but can't find any specific model tuner for this. Or do I need a special HDTV converter box? Any help would be appreciated.

 

Look for a stand alone tuner with QAM capability.
