hdtv

    hi all.. i'm looking to buy a hdtv ready tv with a picture tube(not lcd or plasma) preferably with pip 32inch with 3 s-video inputs. anyone got any ideas as to which one my fit this bill?? thanx

    Go with the WEGA.(4:3 or 16:9) As far as your preference in inputs, why bother with HDTV if you're going to use inferior inputs. Though these TVs have s-video, in order to take advantage of these you need to start using component cables at the very least. Not only does it give you a better picture, but these are needed in order to take advantage of progressive scan and 1080i(HDTV). HDTVs also have DVI, HDMI, SVGA, RGB and other inputs that give you an even better picture. You can even hook your pc up to them.

    If the components you are using only have an s-video output(or you just insist on using s-video), then regardles of the tv you buy, you can always purchase a seperate A/V selector. This way you only have to worry about what the picture looks like rather than the amount of inputs it has.
