MY xbox is with an X3 ce chip. I ftp into the xbox hard drive and i have the evox dashboard set up. I'm trying to install the X-wizard Autoinstaller on to my xbox as an ISO file but have wasted alot of dvd-r disk and dvd-rw, even tried cd-rw and cd-r disk but nothing has worked yet. I Use QWIX101 to create the iso files and a nero burning rom 7.0 free dowloaded sample to burn the DVDs/CDs at a slow speed. Maybe someone outthere can tell me what i'm doing wrong. I downloaded the 437 MB X-wizard Autoinstaller files along wtih the 37 kb attached file and put them in a folder, the read me file is in spanish so that does not help. Is there something i'm missing? Should there be a default.xbe dummy file, or an exoxdash.xbe file in the folder since xbox always searches for this file. My next step is to smash and break something. I've even tried to ftp the autoinstaller into the xbox but that does not work. I tried the Slayer autoInstaller but nothing works. Is there something in my X3 cofig that has to be changed. Man, this is driving me nuts. All the tutorials i've read just say burn and put in xbox and 'Kazoom', no i don't think so.Any help would be greatly, appreciated. Thanx
you need to burn the info on the disc to the root directory on the disc.. i use nero burning rom 6 to do it.. there are a few help pages on how 2 do this if you search google... just search for burning to the root directory using nero burning rom 6
