I would like to use my noise cancelling headphones, but I am faced with a problem. There is no headphone jack on my keyboard, monitor, or anywhere on my speakers/powered subowoofer. I have searched numerous times and cannot find one. The only possible place would most likely be the back of the sound card, but this is located behind my tower in a very hard to reach place. This would most likely work, but I haven't bothered to try since I do not have any headphones with a wire long enough to reach.

There is however, a headphone jack on my CD R drive which is inside my tower. I have heard that the only way to use this jack is by inserting a CD into this drive, but I was not sure if this is true.

So my question is, is there anyway to use this jack? Or is it only for CD's in this drive. I would like to use it, but I cannot find any way for it to work. I would like to know if there is anyw ay to use this jack.

    Any help is appreciated.

Its only for cds (or atlease on all of my computers it is)
I can though suggest you just get a wire extension cable to hook up to your sound card and then easily connect and disconnect your headphones.
    Try one like this.

That's another thing I was thinking of.

    Thanks for the help.

I'll look into getting one sometime soon.
