hi i bought the 360 plantronics heatset and i wanna use it on my xbox 1 but i have to get some sort of comunicattor module. is there any other way i could use it?
Without the module, you won't be able to use it. I think Mad Catz makes a cheap one if you want to try it.
you can make it work but you may not like what you will have to do to make it work..... you can remove the connector from the headset and add a regular 2.5mm headset plug on it by soldering a new one on. these plugs can be found at radio shack and such. I know it can be done because I bought a 2.5mm extension from radio shack and took my 360 headset and unsoldered it from the adapter and put the 2.5mm female plug on it so I can hook any adapter up to my 360 and as a bonus fixed my 360 adapter with the 2.5mm male plug and it works on all of my stuff now so I didn't have to ruin any of my headsets. but one thing i did notice is that the plug (male end) that came on the extension doesn't like the xbox headset adapter cause my 360 headset doesnt wanna let me hear people on that adapter but works on everything else. here is some help on the 360 headset hookup http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/mods/xbox-360-controller-headset-wiring-diagram.htm Let me know if ya have any questions.
does anyone know if its possible to modify a PC Desktop to fit into a xbox 360 case/shell, or if anyone has seen it done??
