When I try to load up some games. The PS2 i think is a v4 chip is a DMS4 Pro. Its a old system but with very little use, I got it chipped last summer but the past few weeks some games just stop working and others take a few min to load with clicking noise (i guess coming from the laser) and the in game movie clips freeze up. Do I need a few laser?

I think so, it could be from cheap DVD's, or CD's. Or your chip could of broken?

Would there be any problems if I took the games burnt on bad quality dvd and reburnt them on better media?
