I had the same problem as well.

Here is what I did. I used AVIfix to fix any errors in the file. Then used NeroVision 4 to burn the new improved .avi file. Worked like a charm.

I also had one file that this did not fix. For this one, I had to use VSO's DivxtoDVD to convert to .VTS files. I then improted these files into NeroVision 4 and made my menus. There was no A/V out of sync!

    Hope this helps.

I have the same problem. My avi files work fine on my computer and xbox, but when I try to use NeroVision 7 to burn them to DVD format the audio de-synchs.. sometimes it is fine until halfway through the show then it is delayed or ahead.

Well, I would like to find a solution that doesn't require VSO's app. For one reason it stamps a watermark on the video.

The thing that confuses me is that the nero vision problem with audio de-synch only occurs every now and then and it happens half way through the video... not during the entire length.

Anyway could it be a problem with my computer doing other things during the transcoding process or would that not matter at all? So far I've burnt 2 DVDs full of LOST episodes I transcoded without any audio error.. so the problem isn't easily reproduced.

Burning video files with nereo 7 is a waste of time, especially if your using a pirated copy as far as I have found. Don't bother! Im sure nero has put crap copies out there for bittorent users to waste their time and create a coaster business for idiots. Download your movies in DVD format, extract with IsoBuster and burn with CloneDvd2. Nuffsaid.
Nero is ok to play with, but always use RW's!

Um... Nero doesn't work because its pirated? Go figure...

Always use RW's? Only if you don't know what you're doing...
