HEELLLP!!! backing up ps2 dvd games, which media is best??

    i have bought a philips dvd+r drive and backed up gta:vice city onto the disk that comes in the package, a 4.7gb extended play (240 mins) video disk, but on trying it in the ps2 found it crashes alot and comes up with the message "error reading ps2 dvd disk". is it the disk that is the problem? if so what disk would you recommend?

    I have a pioneer 105 . I used recordnow max 4.5 to backup dmxxx but my ps2 do not want to load them. Its the media? i try video dvdr and my ps2 played but skip a lot. I cant use primo dvd =( Someone told me nero also works for backing up ps2 games. Where can i buy the best media USA? neo dvdr the best? If im using a bad media my ps2 dont play them?

    I do have a modchip on my ps2 using dvdr. Can i get some good dvd r media on ebay that will work on my ps2 thanks
