First let me say hello. Second, I have searched the forums and haven't found the answer to this question (though I may not have searched hard enough--or it may be so simple everyone else already knows the answer). I downloaded a homemade DVD from someone else. It is in VOB format, can I just burn the whole folder and it will play as a DVD, or does it need to be in another format? Thirdly, and I am really hoping someone can help me out here, I am having issues with the Edit Menu feature. Everytime I click the button Nero crashes, I try to restart and get an error message saying that it is already running. I contacted Nero tech support and they told me to run Nero Toolkit, the prob with that is that Toolkit also crashes on me. Has anyone else experienced this? I have Nero 6 which was bundled with my DVD burner. I have all the latest updates (including the one for Nerovision 3 which is where the Edit Menu problem exists). Any help would be appreciated.
HI, 1.if you have shrink dvd you can utilise the re author function to get your vob to disc.As nero doesnt work at the moment suggest you download imgburn (a free app) from filepedia and try burning it that way 2.Do you get an option to save the error or log file below nero crashes, if so copy and paste it in your next post
1. Thanks, I did try using IMgburn, but now my DVD player doesn't recognize it, I wonder if it is missing a file or something. 2. Nope, no log file is created, or even a window asking me if I want to create one, it just, NeroVision just literally disappears.
I am running Nero 6 that was bundled with my driver. My pc is an old Compaq Presario 533 mhz 189 Ram sufficient gigs in my hard drive to burn more than three times what I am attempting.
well i guess your going to find that 189 meg of ram isnt really going to cut it with what your attempting, what are all your pc stats?
I am able to burn. That is not the problem. I just can't create any menus. Basically I am stuck with the templates that comes with Nero.
you may consider changing your program to that of tmpgenc dvd author. If you look in the guides section have a look at the advanced and basic tutorials and see if this is what you are looking for
