    I need a good compression software suggestion for using with mpg authoring program like TMGEnc. I have tried DVD Shrink but I gives me error codes. It asks for Video files, but it doesn't recognize mpg files.Anyone who has more experience in this area I really appreciate any suggestions.....thanks

    The Nero Softs should accomodate your needs...
    Create your DVD in Nero Vision Express, which can compress your movie files to fit a DVD-9, if not then continue with Nero Recode...
    Nero Recode is similar to DVD Shrink but is more advanced...
    try these out, if not working still, try the FilePedia site which has tonnes of useful downloads
