Hello all new here mainly joined to find out info on star view the box recently bought 1 and found out it's the clone(25 vents) after numerous attempts to get it working to no avail i've reset the factory settings using code 1668 can anyone take me through step by step set up from start please as not very tech orientated any help will be much appreciated please? thanks
yeshir do an autoscan on ur provider,if u choose wrong provider 0 channels found,oh and coaxial into cable input,and scan from main feed no splitters from wall socket,and emu to on
Menu > Factory Setting PIN 0000 OK to delete Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on English > Installation Choose Provider etc Automatic Scan Press OK Channels found Exit Press Menu 1570 Turn EMU key ON Exit , exit , exit Also press Menu > System Information and tell us what the APi is and where you are located as you might need toupdate the firmware if you cannot access the menu 1570
