Straight to the point: my son has an xbox360 with NO hdd in it, just a 2gb usb drive. I (the idiot) took the pen drive out and dragged and dropped a 500mb file from the drive to my pc hdd in order to free up some space. Like an idiot, i thought i could drag it back again and my son would be none the wiser... duuuh. when he comes home he's gonna kill me cos NOW all the profiles have disappeared. Can i get it back to before i messed up? Please help an idiot in mid-life crisis. Cheers Jim
well if the xbox got live doesnt matter if its gold or silver you can recover the profile..... what file did you move? and a better question is did windows ask you to format the usb?
Thanks fixed it by having windows show hidden files and folders! simply dragged back the file that i moved. i'm an xbox genius overnight. Jim
