HELP - anyone else have the r4 card?

    got a ds for christmas and just got my r4 slot-1 card. im using a 1gb micro sd and nds roms work great.

    prob is im supposed to be able to play gba roms as well. however it will not load anything with a .gba extension. anyone know how to do this?

    also, i have the nds rom for the european version of opera ds, but when i try to load it, it tells me i need the memory expansion card that goes in slot-2. is there a way around this?

    can't play GBA on any slot 1 units, including:

    R4 DS
    M3 DS Simply
    Supercard DS One
    EZ Flash V

    GBA only works with slot 2 devices, and those are the ones that fit into the GBA slot

    I just read on scdev that putting a slot 2 card in as well as the slot one card is supposed to get opera working.

    This only works if the Slot-2 device is from the M3 Perfect range or the Supercard range, also the Opera ROM needs to be patched.
