HELP: backing up PS2 games onto DVD-R's

    can someone give me step-by-step instructions on how to back up my PS2 games using my pioneer AO5 dvd burner and -R's dvd's please. Found the info easily enough for backing up DVD movies but not for PS2 games.

    Use [bold]RecordNow Max[/bold]. Build global image then write image to dvd-r. Thats it.

    use nero new compilation, dvd copy, create image then burn to disc. i use nero v. 5.5.10

    DVD Decrypter - Read ISO > Write ISO

    (worry about what media you burn to)

    Can someone clarify how to use the DVD Decrypter? Whenever I try to write my Devil May Cry image to a blank DVD-RW, I get an error around 85% complete saying something about my Pioneer DVD-RW burner. I tried this twice and it did the samething. And do I need a modchip for this to work?

    I am quite new to this but I have been using Record Now Max for PS2 games and I just use the disc to disc copy. Thats it, as simple as that. I have used 4x and 2x and I always use TEST, and record if ok.

    To use backed up PS2 DVDs made with DVD Dycrypt, Record Max NOW or nero do you need a have a Mod chip installed in your PS2?

    yeah Biglad - thats what I do aswell - disc to disc with recnowmax - everytime.......

    Just use the little wizard - and your good....

    In order to get a good burn your ide connections need to be configured correctly or else buffer under runs occur.....

    Reader and writer on SEPERATE ide's - anyway works for me...

    Alcohol 120% IMHO, always worked for me and never gave me trouble, just simple, image making wizard (change datatype to playstation 2) and then image burning wizard (change datatype to playstation 2) and that has served me well :)
