HELP backing up XMEN 2 with NERO!!!!!?!

    OK NEW PLAN!!!
    I will download another xmen2 iso and burn just in case the iso i downloaded was faulted!
    I'll let you know of the result.

    Ok I downloaded another iso of the game. this one weridly enough was bigger around 2.2 GB.
    I used decrypter ISO write x2 w/o internet. on a TDK
    I put in the game. Started to kinda load ( the screen went black as if a game was about to load) and it got stuck there)

    Didnt work!!!
    Help?!
    Any other suggestions?

    I don't know Apollon I almost think it's a hardware problem with all the problems you've had. What kind of burner do you have?

    Its matSHITa DVD-RAM UJ-811

    hmm? so you are saying it might be that.? or maybe the ps2 chip (although it plays other copies fine)
    What dvd-burner do u use? and what ps2 chip do u guys have?

    Do you think it matters what version of dvd-decrypter or nero i use?

    Well I don't think your chip is exactly top of the line, but since it plays backups okay, I don't think it's the chip. Here's a link to the firmware. Try updating it and see if that helps. http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1750 Make sure you follow the flash directions precisely, so as to avoid damaging your drive.

    Thanks for the advices. ooo I'm scared of flashing the drive. One friend of mine who's supposed to know about pc tried to do that and he f****d it up.
    I'll try another game or something or from another friend's burner.
    But if you have any other tips please i'm all ears.
