have to desolder to remove the caps, get same value caps & solder them in with the right orientation.
One other comment: If this is a Dell machine, then I believe that this is a problem that Dell knows of, and will replace your motherboard for ..... if you force them to! Search out info using Google and you should find more info - I did for the company I'm working for (a nuclear generating station !).
this board I'm talking about its a p3 MSI MS-6309 LITE Socket 370. So its not a dell. Hey ddp how much is for a desolder and a solder and 4 caps ? are you saying its 2 dollar each ?
Also those boards are like 3 dollars plus shipping on ebay. Hell I just seen a lot of them like 5 for five dollars and ten for shipping. If one out of those five work yeah saved money.
Lol then forget it i would just get some other combos at frys or something its alot cheaper and its like 10 times the speed
LOL did i told you guys that i already have them already just want to fix up this p3........ right now I'm using a dual core AMD ATHLON 3800+ with 2gb of DDR RAM PC3200. but the board suck its ecs lol
