Bought a starview the box pvr installed the latest firmware 4.506_Oct 2007 and put on auto update but when I try the channels they are still scrambled ? shows a $ sign along side the channel when u select it from the OSD and says scrambled or bad signal when using channel. Tried downloading keys for manual input and they didn't work either. Im new to this Anyone any ideas please. Thanks Steve
Hi Yes, do plenty of reading in the link below, Starview_pvr/Documentation. You don't need to input keys EVER, the Starview PVR is AU (Auto Updating) Be patient with the updating. http://eko.4shared.com/ jbvid
Hi, thanks for the links and info they were very useful. Tried a factory reset twice and as you said be patient and hey presto it is now up and running. your the best thanks alot. Steve
