    hi
i have a xbox backup game in .mdf and .mds files
i have tried burning the images straight with alcohol 120% at 4x.
i have also tried using qwix to convert to .iso then burning with nero on 4x.

Both did not work and i my xbox is still not able to play them.
    Can anyone please help me?

have you tried by simply just changing the extionsion of the bigger file to .iso?

just rename the file from .mdx to .iso

Make sure you have the option turned on in WinXP to enable file extensions. If you have then turned off (invisible) it will not work.

If i'm not mistaken the .MDF is the bigger of the two right?

just rename the file to <name>.mdf to <name>.iso

to do this in CDM just go

    START>RUN
    Type CMD and ENTER
type "ren <name>.mdf <name>.iso" Where <name> is the file name.

This will rename the file to .iso rather than converting it with a program. I have used this function quite a few times to be able to burn the images with NERO.

    Hope this helps
