Recently, i've been trying to put about 39 videos onto a DVD using nerovision express 2. However. after it's done transcoding the videos (after 4 hours of transcoding......heh) it gives an error message (something about power or something i believe) and then just closes.

the types of videos are mostly winamp and two are windows media.

if nothing, then what else would be a good program to use???

    thanks

Welcome and is the error code a " Power Calibration error". If not then we need exact error codes if we are going to be able to assist you, so try to write them down exactly if you can.

but yes, the error code is a "Power Calibration error"

so, would i be able to fix it, or does each video need to be "made" or transcoded a certain way???

When the DVD burner starts it reads a small amount of Data that is on the disk and this enables the burner to calibrate itself to the blank media. A Power Calibration error is usually caused by:
1.Bad Media- Use good quality blank media
2 Burner laser need to be cleaned. Get a cleaning disc.
3 The DVD-Burner has died. This usually is not the problem but it can happen

well, I have used 3 different types of media (maxell dvd+r compusa dvd-r and tdk dvd-r), and they all have given the same message.

anything else that might be wrong???

I take it the firmware is flashed to current version. If not flash to current version. Are you using the current most UTD version of Nero. It has been reported in some threads on another forums about Nero causing this problem
Current version Of NVE is 2.1.2.16
The only other suggestion is to try branded Riteks or Verbatim

well, we are using the most current version of nero, but the thing is that we have got it to work 4 differnet times, but then it supposedly does'nt work agian.

I got a verbatim brand +RW so i'll try that suggestion
