    hi

umm? i'm not sure now as i havent used alcohol for a while? it may be that alcohol burns the disc with the setting ticked for safe disc? when burning! and the emulation is there as long as alcohol is loaded? SHOEY is the guy for this info! if you see his name email him! hes a good guy and will help out! as he has me!

    thx.........

Use Alcohol 120 to read the images (cd's) and choose the Safedisc 2 datatype profile for each disc (image making wizard). Once you've read all the images (cd's), open image writing wizard and chose Safedisc 2 datatype profile and burn RAO DAO at 8x seperatly m8. Play the backups in your burner.

Did you try emulation? Go to emulation and check "ignore media type" then minimize Alcohol 120 to system tray and insert the backup in your burner and try again m8.

Alcohol 120 (Big red A icon) running in system tray (underneath your pc clock)? Tick ignore media type and insert backup(s) in your burner and they "should" play. I've backed up The Sims Unleashed with a :1 sheep" burner and the backup played in my burner only with emulation.

ok but what do you mean when you say sheep burning
    thx...

Sheep refers to correct EFM encoding, and stands for eight to fourteen modulation. There are burners that can write "regular bit patterns correctly"(2 sheep) and burners that can write regular bit patterns [bold] almost [/bold] correctly" (1 sheep). Team Elby (CloneCD) has compiled a list of burners and gives them a "sheep" score rating (1 or 2). Look at the link I'm providing and look at [bold]correct EFM encoding [/bold] and you'll see 2 sheep or 1 sheep. Still confused? Counting sheep.....
