    Hi Folks

Looking to buy this laptop, Everex Va2001t. It looks good, and comes with $100 rebate at newegg.com

Wanted to see what the word on the street is when it come to this laptop. I am a student and just need something to do homework and stuff.

I like it, looks like a good deal and something I can afford. BTW, wondering also whats the best way to pay for this, don't have much room on my credit card and really dont like using debit card online. Do you guys know what the best way for me to pay for this at newegg.

    Thanks

It looks good, definetly enough for school. No gaming though... And it has Vista :(

Looks like a good deal for only $500

I think the best way to pay for it is with your credit card, but since you dont want to use that then I guess not...

Circuit City usually has Acer Notebooks on sale from $350 - $600 and you can get coupons on Ebay or other places online to save up to 15% of purchase. I like Acers because they are very well made and if it's got Vista on it, it's easy to find XP drivers when I roll back to XP Pro. I've been recommending Acers to my clients and all are completely satisifed. Great affordable. product.

Still Have not bought a laptop yet, I saw that tigerdrect.com has some refurb laptops, one i think was a gateway that was reasonable, they also have a couple of ways for me to pay cash.
