I recently purchased a Samsung SH-D162D Drive, I replaced my DVD Reader drive with the samsung one. I connected all the cords but when i power up my computer and go my computer i cant find the Drive, It should be in F. I already have a Multi Burner in E. I Looked in device settings and it does not show up in there, how do i get it to show up or how do i install the drive on my computer for it to recognize it, the Samsung Drive opens and closes and the lights are flashing green on it. My computer is a HP Media Center with Windows XP Installed on it. Anyhelp is greatly appriciated, Thanks!
is the new drive jumpered the same as the old drive was? look at the back either betwwen the data cable & power or the audio cable & data cable.
