    Please help!
I am a newbie and am stuck with this problem. Using P4 2.4Ghz, 512RAM, 40GB computer. Using an ATI card with composite connection. I have a Sharp analog camera that is connected yellow video into the composite slot on card. Audio is coming out of an amplifier via red and white into RCA slot mic on computer. I've also tried this in the line-in slot as well.

    History,
Day one was able to capture video and get color just fine.
Day two I buy a dvd burner and install as slave (to DVDROM) on IDE cable. Turn on computer to capture in Windows Movie Maker 2 and the live capture is in black and white and the screen is jerking around. Looks like more than one frame in the pic. It's just a mess. What happened? Tried to capture in Nero and it looks the same. Can't figure out how to capture with ATI MMC software to check that.

Please help. Have to tape on Sat! Suggestions?

Don"t capture from an analogue Capture device useing "Windows Movie Maker" because when Captureing from analogue Devices it capture only to Uncompressed AVI for which you don"t have a Fast enough Hard Drive or enough space Cuz Uncompressed AVI Sucks up 1.2gb per minute of Video, Or it will capture to WMV Format which is not a Good Format for editing or for DVD or for any sort of Quality.....

With your System I would suggest that you capture directly to Mpeg-2/DVD format useing a Capture program Like "InterVideo WinDVR v3.0"...

I don"t know why you can Capture in ATI MMC as it is a Good Capture program and it is Very easy to use.....

    Good luck
