The xbox is turning on/off/on/off then flashing green and red, no picture or sound. But the disc tray still opens and closes. Apparently this is christmas lights. I know exactly what happened to it I just dont know how to fix it. What happened is I pressed a wrong button or something, it said 'now flashing, xbox will turn off!' and it did. It has been doing the christmas lights thing ever since. I dont know much about computers and such but after looking aroundon the internet I am pretty sure I messed up the bios. Is there some way I can fix this?
Yes most definitely. It can do all sorts of things that Im sure arent legal which is why i havent taken it anywhere for fixing.
Does it give you an error screen ? you may be able to hotswap but i never messed up my bios so idk. I like Christmas lights.
Sounds like you made a balls of the BIOS within the chip! Search around to learn how to reflash the chip or remove it and hope the original BIOS is still intact, then you can softmod it!
