Hello everyone I need help configuring my pc. I am not a noob but I have, just finished building my first pc from scratch. Here are the specs:

    -ASUS P4S800-MX motherboard
-2GB Rosewill Dual DDR PC3200 system Ram
-Intel P4 cpu 3.2GHz with HT
-2X 200GB Western Digital HD’s (I really do need the space)
-NVIDIA GeFORCE 6600GT 128MB video card
    -XP Pro
My main question is, how should I setup my video card to take full advantage of the RAM? And, Is this too week of a card? I do 3d animation and rendering, no games.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

disable any on-board video so you don't share memory from ram, also with the on-board sound if you can with a sound card. I have a nvidia geforce pci-e 6600gt ddr3 and it play doom 3 and ut2004 just fine. havent tried any other games yet.

Thats good advice I'll do that I'm just not sure if my bios allows that. and who knows i just might give one of those games a try some time.
