I was wondering if there is any product out there that would make it simpler for me to connect either 16 IDE writers or 16 SATA writers to my computer? I did stumble accross a procut (cant find it now) on the internet that converts 4 IDE drives to firewire and allows to daisy chain.

or could I use this product and djust daisy chain the ide drives with IDE cables? it says something in the description but Im just confused.

    Product:

    Thanks,

Why not get a duplicator? And, make sure you have a PSU that will power it.

And i thought i was bad; i've got 6 on my main machine, 2 SATA, 1 IDE and 3 USB2.0

Could have had another 5 mounted internally but those (SATA) ports have hard drives hanging off them
