Help converting asf files to mpeg or avi

    Ive tried several programs to convert an asf file----Does anyone know how to do this---I think one of the problems when i play the asf file ----I cant move forward or back on the clip-----it just starts and you cant control the file---

    Please help

    It seems like the asf issue. I don't think it helps if you convert the asf file to other format.
