I have a few files that are in avi format that I would like to burn to a DVD+R disk. I have no idea how to do this, so here are my Q's:

    1. What file does the video feed have to be in order to burn it to a DVD+R disk? I know that some movies that I have backed up and burned are in a VOB (VSO or something like that) file, so is that what I need, or will AVI work?

    2. I would like to create a menu, so is there a way to convert the movie files and then open them with nerovision to create a menu?

    I have:

    DVD Shrink 3.2
    Nero
    NeroVision

    any help would be appreciated.

If you had a DVD player that supported AVI/Divx format, you could leave the files in that format and burn a data DVD. Otherwise, you have to convert to DVD format(the VOBs that you talk about)
In that link you find out how to convert your AVI files to DVD using Nero Vision. You can make a menu and choose what movie you want to play. I have used the method frequently.
