I have a film that is xvid format 718,637kb long that i have converted to DVD using main concept mpeg encoder. When finishing converting the size is 4.6gig when i go to author the film using TMPGenc author it tell me that the file is to long for a dvd disc i can ignore but this means the the sound is out when they talk. i have cut the film as much as i can is there any other way for me to shrink the film before i author it it needs to be in PAL.
after you author you can shrink using DVD Shrink. Just tell TMPGEnc that you're using dual layer discs (8.5GB) or ignore the warnings it gives you.
