I am new to this - both forums and creating DVDs from our Sony video Cam. I hope someone can help me. I am trying to create one DVD from multiple mini-DVDs recorded from our Cam Corder. I have Nero Express 6, The problem is each mini-DVD has the same folders (Video-TS, etc.) and the same file names. I was told I could use the "import disk" option, but I cannot find this option anywhere. I am not computer illiterate, but I am not very savvy about this video-editing creating, etc stuff. So, I can use ALL the help I can get. Step by step instructions work the best for me on this stuff. Thanks a million !
Well I hope this answer isnt to complicated. I'm not sure about the Import disc function but all you really need to do is drag and drop the VOBs from the each VIDEO_TS folder into nero. I would take all the VOBs(minus the one or two which are related to the menu) and import them. Then merge all those VOBs together into one title. Then repeat this and that will keep things organized. My apologies in advance if this isnt the best guide.
import disc pulls from pc dvd drives, if you got say 20 dvdrs that will be bad news... (i would put all files to hard drive! in separate folders for speed/fast converting) in nero v8 its "add video" in "dvd project" now! im not sure with v6 if nero express is the same as nero vision express? you may need vision express to make dvd? sorry been awhile useing v6 (6 is known to be the best stable version in later revisions)
