I am trying to back up a dvd, and for some reson I keep getting a error I have not come accross before. Using DVD shrink the error that appears is

    Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)

I have tried using DVD dcrypter also but I fails to decrypt half way through. Any ideas on what is causing this or a program that may be able to rip it ?

bad media.you will not be able to back up that disc.you are copying from a copy, right?the copy was burned using bad media,or it is a badly damaged disc.isobuster, ifo edit will not fix this problem, but you could try anyway.

It is an original dvd. It is not in perfect condition. So I guess its just a scratch causing it ?
