Hello, I have been very interested in modding lately so I downloaded Softmod Installer Deluxe. I put the necessary Splinter Cell files on my memory card, and used the NTSC save, as I live in Canada. I follow the tutorials, and boot up SPlinter Cell adter the saves are on my HDD. After I click checkpoints I am taken to an Error 21 "Service Required" screen. I reboot the Xbox and it is as if I hadn't done anything and the original MS dash is still functional. Can someone please tell me how to get Evox to actually load when I hit checkpoints instead of being led into this error screen. Thanks a lot!
Hi, I had a problem like this 2 days ago. Here is what you should try. Delete all the other saves from the Splinter Cell Directory like your profiles and downloaded content. This makes the installer not launch. Once you delete the files, cold boot your xbox, meaning that you open the dvd drive, insert the disc, power off, power on and then run the linux gamesave and hit continue checkpoints. If you see a loading animation, then it is working, otherwise get more help. Please tell me if my solution worked, as I am interested to know if it did.
