u cant. its impossible at the moment. i tried everything. i have opened up my hard-drive and connected it to my pc. i can transfer pics but not videos
there is a way but it is really extreme and hard to do there is a free open source media center application that looks just like windows media center edition but you have to set it up download the third party application which is considered illegal because it uses microsoft stolen code and it just turns into a big mess i have a microsoft windows media center pc im writing this forum statement on it and you are not missing much after installing microsoft's application for connecting to the xbox 360 via windows media center the windows media center application keeps crashing after you stream video and this only happens after streaming video with the 360 plugin it's not worth it the only video's that you can stream are the videos recorded from the tv
I wish to add one more important information.. There is a reason why you can't just put video on HDD of xbox 360 because you need to "digital sign" your videos first. Or Xbox 360 wont accept those without digital sign, as it will think those are illegal. (Hmmmm so my birthday video are illegal then....(!!)). That's why it is impossible (at the moment) to put MP3, video, picture or whatever on xbox 360 HDD as Xbox 360 only read any files that are "digital sign". And you can't get any tool to "digital sign" the videos, as there are growing number of people working on cracking this stupid "digital sign" business. Believe it - you are not only one in the boat - there are almost all Xbox 360 owners are in the same boat as you about wanting videos on Xbox 360. Microsoft ought to fire people for having a bright idea of putting digital signs on all stuff in xbox 360.
1.Get your file 2.covert it to DVD(vob) using a programme like winavi 3.burn to DVD 4.put DVD into your 360.
yeah thats wut i thought i would ude media center but my pc nevers finds the device!! and im gettin rly p'od cuz there both connected to tha same router but they wont find each other
