Trying to backup my Navigation DVD for my Honda vehicle....

I have a Plextor PX-716A drive, Dual Format, etc.

Successfully burned an image of this disc with Alchohol 120%, but it is 7539.35MB. No copy protection or anything on the disc.

What type of media does this go on? DVD-R DL? DVD+R DL? Once I figure this out, I'll try it.

    HELP!

Yes either will work if you booktype the plus R to DVD-ROM that makes it the most compatable with most standalone players

them DL discs are bit pricey..
i just saw a 10 pack at best buy for like $60.. but i guess in this case you will need it.
just get a three pack... those are about 20

You can always use your memorex dvds as coasters (if you don't sell them)

Thanks for all the advice, being a newbie though -- I am not sure how to "book type" it???

I have been using Alcohol 120% for my media burning needs, is this what I should be using - or use DVD Decryptor?

Any the help is appreciated, I'd really like to get this done so it works!

P.S. - Is there any program that will look at a DISC and tell you EXACTLY what media type it is written on? DVD-R, DVD+R, etc.?
