HELP DVD drive XbOx

    I need a new DVD drive for my xbox, and i rlly dont know wat i should get, any suggestions.


    i hav found one, but i don't know if it is good----Thomson TGM600 TGM-600

    Yeah, I know that the Thompson Drives are mad cheap, but DO NOT get one, they are the crappiest of crap, and I know because I bought one, they read almost nothing, if you want cheaper, but something half decent, get a samsung drive, or a phillips... Hitachi Drives are the best, but quite expensive... try ebay for either of the drives... you'll find one for around 30 to 40... but DO NOT GET A THOMPSON... lol ttfn

    i have a quick question. i have an xbox with a messed up DVD drive that gives a disc read error. can i just swap that drive out with another stock xbox dvd drive?

    first, try getting a laser cleaner disc, you can get one of those at wal mart or radioshack, if that doesn't work.. you can switch it out, its not very hard, very similar to a computer.. but if you do get another drive, as I must re-state, do not get a thompson.......
