Help DVD Rom doesn't read anymore after mod chip installed

    Hi Everyone,
    I need a big help.
    I installed the Mod 3 chip, but now the drive does not read anything anymore, when I installed it, the cable from the drive came off(the ribbon cable to the lens slider). So I installed it back. But after that it does not read anything (not even a dvd movie). It says no data.
    My friend told me that the Drive must be realigned. Is it true?

    are you talking about the magic 3.1 because i've never heard of mod 3 chip.

    Yeah. Mod Magic 3.1.
