Help editing a movie

    I am using Nero Express that came with my DVD burner. This is my first time trying to create a movie. I am trying to cut some of the video and I keep thinking I have it right and then it will still play when I am doing my final review. Sometimes I have even cut half of the video not knowing how that happened. Can someone give me a better explanation on how to cut video. I am using the scissors button but apparently am not doing something right. Thanks.

    Hello.

    Do you mean you are using NeroVision Express? Nero Express is the project wizard.

    NVE has a terrible editor imo. Bacially you move the left > marker to the start of the cut and move the right < to the end of the cut and then apply the scissors.

    I prefer TMPGEnc Author myself. Version 1.6 has a 30day free trial that's fully functional.
