hello people im a xbox newbie and umm i wa sinstalling the slayers disc and i was gettign helping from my mate online. and umm i was gettign probs in starting up the dash board and then i decided to remove the installer and put the bak the same dash board which si the microsoft dash board. and wen i start up the xbox i get a error 5. how can i get rid of it? and my xbox dosnt hav chip switch but tis able to play copied games is it softmodded????? some please help me in gettign rid of that error 5 pleaseee ur help is valuable to me.
ok, well. if ur xbox doesnt have a modchip in it. but is capable of playing backups, then it can either be softmodded or tsop flashed. error 05 simply means that ur hdd isnt locked. so u must have messed around in slayers a bit too much and unlocked ur hdd. if ur xbox can still boot slayers. load that and lock ur hdd. that should fix it
