help finding cheap mac software

    can anybody help me find some cheap or second user software for a customer, im not in tune with mac software and need some pointers, ebay is fairly useless for it as i need quantity, im looking for quark express 6.5 X 4 filemaker pro 7 or 8 X 4 and adobe cs2 X 2 and cs 3 X 1

    any help would be greatly appreciated

    Welcome to the "Mac World". There is no "cheap software".

    Slightly discounted retail is the best that you can hope for.

    Well, it isn't quite that bad. Thanks to GNU/Linux developers, there are many professional quality, free substitutes for the software you listed. The attractiveness of such open-source software to professionals is the ability to modify it to their desires and recompile the source code.

    Remember, it's illegal to sell it; and check the copy-left contract for proper use.

    found all the software in need on ebay america, my brother lives there and can send it fed ex to me , the prices are quoted in pounds buy delivery is 3-4 weeks where as to usa mainland is 2 days can i use it and upgrade to latest versions later or will i be in a grey area

    If you are a student, you can usually find sites giving discounts.
    I just bought MS Office 2007 for windows for only about $60.
