Help finding Mpeg-4 to Avi Converter

    I have some files that are mpeg-4 media files and I want to convert them to avi files. Anybody know any softwares that can do this?

    Why is converting mpeg-4 files so damn hard. I've spent at least over 10 hours trying to figure it out....

    What exactly do you mean by MPEG-4 files? mp4's? Containing AVC or MPEG-4 Part 2? Also you just want it in an avi container (no idea why) or you want an avi that is compatible with your SAP?

    Dan. I know what you mean. I was close to giving up. I just put
    my movie on a cd. I really wanted it on a dvd but, time was short
    and I had to get it done.
