I just used the Blaster 360 Next Edition and flashed the firmware of my Hitachi 0078 using toolbox 3.0, every step seemed perfect, working fine, now the system will not boot at all. Was working fine and playing originals before this, now nothing, won't even load the xmb. I have no idea what to do, did I brick my console? Can I reflash the original firmware dump and try again? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I don't want to do anything else tonight and screw it up further. Note: The DVD drive does open and the console powers up, but nothing comes up on screen, also the controller will power the console up and down but not select a port for itself. When I game is put in I can hear it loading but see nothing on screen, its like the system is just hanging.
I had the exact same thing happen to me, The mistake i made was not putting the cable into the 360 drive before i put it back together. Try taking it apart and just double checking.
Well, as a quick update, I powered the console up this morning and it works fine, plays both my original Halo 3 as well as the backup I made when i picked it up Monday night. This is my first experience with a Hitachi, my other 2 boxes were Samsung ms25, they got the RROD. Anyhow, hope the third time's a charm.

Wow, skater, I didn't brick my 360, works fine. Glad to know I have your support if I ever choose to though.
