Hello everybody I'm gonna need some help with something.
I've readed everywhere about flashing I've even seen a friend doing it ages ago to his XBOX 360 when I didn't have one.
Yesterday I bought a Brand new XBOX 360 with those specs:

-XBOX 360 Elite (120 GB HDD)
-2.0.8955.0 (I know that I cannot jtag etc.)
    -Philips/Lite-On DG-16D2S-09C
    MFR Date: 2009 - 09 - 01

I do have a PC with a Sata port (it's on the front part of the PC with 4 USBs on the same place) and a Sata cable.

    My question is simple:
I want to play back-up games (I know the risks including bricking -I had experiences with my PSP btw- and banning from Live - I don't care since I use my PS3 only for online games.)Is there a way to archieve playing back up games on my console? Is It ok to flash it and play or do I need to install a modchip on or something?

    Many,maaany thanx!

Just for Starters you will have to undertake soldering and trace cutting/repairing, plus you will need a probe of somekind to dump the key once the drive has been prepared........

I checked and I have a 83850C (v1) so I don't need any solders or anything, the guide says it's the easiest drive.(Thanx for the help with JungleFlasher)
My question now is, would it work if I use a eSata to Sata cable to connect my DVD Drive? It looks ok to me, it's just a cable, no hardware convertion inbetween or something.
