Hi, I,m having trouble flashing a hitachi 47 drive using jungle flasher. I've done one of these before and didn't have any problems.
whats happening is I can't get jungle flasher to find the drive. I've recently upgraded to windows 7 32 which may be where my problem is. Portio32 is installed and jungle flasher says portio32 is installed so I don't think thats the problem.
When i've flashed drives before it always used to be on port 0xc800.
the sata cable is still connected to that port, ( I never remove it ) but now since upgrading to windows 7 its not listed in the port properties anymore. I only have 0x9c00, 0x9800 and 2 0x9400. thats it. I know when I did other drives there used to be a lot more ports listed. This is my first attempt at flashing any drives using windows 7.
I should mention that the xbox (from ebay), at the moment is asking for a cd to update which is why I want to flash this drive so I can run my backup games through it to try to get it to update.
    Any help is much appreciated.

Have you tried connecting you SATA cable to a different port?
Also never rule out a faulty sata cable connection
