Hi yes uses same loader for both units. Make sure the mains switch is off from the back and only switch on after pressing start on the downloader.
and do i do a scan for the channels before i load the new firmware or just put the firmware straight on it thanks.didnt get any paperwork
halpinio download the kyptview_arnet_loading_instructions[1].zip in eamos library great guide and very easy to follow.
hi lads sorry to bother you again.i have put the new firmware on the box and done a scan but its only picking up about 20 channels.Dave, setanta ireland and a few disney channels.im on nthell dublin.thanks
sorry mate i havnt a clue bout this box and i got no paperwork for it.i did search the forum but i really dont know what people are talking about.sorry not very good with this stuff
when you go to scan, it tells you to wait, and then shows a couple of different options for scanning, 1 of them is something like NTL legacy Dublin, scan on that and you should get everything.
I think I would need to be in front of my own one to run through the exact steps to use when scanning. Does it do a TP scan first ?
He must not be in Dublin N*L if he's not getting dublin legacy.. I think after a tp search it lists the local providers in each specific area.. if in Dub N*L he should pick up abou 19 tp and get every channel..regards
no dont think so.since it found the 20 channels it doesnt even go through a scan.just says done.what is a tp scan should i do that?it also says channel search type.free,scrambled,all,network.
halpinio came across this on another thread it might help you out When you flash it you should see a menu. Go to the bottom option provider on top choose ntl leave the rest alone Press green button on remote Wait till you get next option Choose legacy channels at the top Press ok then let it do its work Then exit out when finished Let it update & thats it.
