I'm trying to re-install nero after my roomates deleted it. They also changed a bunch of my settings, and I'm trying to figure out how to undo them. This is the error message I'm getting... Installation cannot create necessary temporary files in folder 'C:\DOCUME~1\HP_Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\NeroDemo9598\Cab\Tmp'. Please check if you have write permission for this folder. I have checked this folder and it is saying it is read-only. I unchecked the box and hit apply, but when I went back in to the folder it was back to being read-only. Any ideas?
I tried to run the system restore, but it will only let me run it for yesterday, so that's no help. Any other ideas? I did find that at least some files downloaded into that folder, but when I try to run SetupX MSI starter Nero AG it gives me the same message as above. Any more suggestions? *Edit*: I went in and deleted all of the winrar files under the cab folder, leaving only the temp folder there. This allowed the intaller to start running. I made it as far as agreeing to the user agreement, and now I'm getting the message: "The wizard was interrupted before Nero 7 Demo could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again."
i currnetly have nero6.6 i was wanting to know how and where to get nero recode? i went to the sight and tried the upgrade but i didnt get anything from nero
Its in Update package # 2 That one has recode 2 in it. Personally id uncheck that yahoo toolbar part before DL. It takes up space, but you can keep it if you want. http://www.nero.com/nero6/enu/nero-up.php
