Help Guys

    I have a 17 Inch iMac and every time i put in bland media (blank CD/DVD) the dist image that shows up underneath the hardrive never shows up. Then when i try to burn something it won't let me because it tells me there is no disk. I don't think it is the media because i have used the same DVD's and CD's in the past. Can some one help me?
