help help help gta sa

can anyone please tell me why my xbox ( no mods or chips ) has started to say my disc of gta san andreas is dirty or damaged ( retail copies x2 both in good con )when i have done nothing to change them ie: mod xbox or copied games. My xbox works perfectly fine with all other discs. i've contacted rockstar they blame the xbox, microsoft blame the game so i bought another copy of the disc n it still does the same. im now pullin my hair out decidin whether to ditch the box n buy a new one but that means losin all my saves please help

 

ps i aint saved it with any cheats or anythin

 

try and clean the lense with a lense cleaner from almost any gaming store they should have it

 

cheers for replyin. i tried this not long after i started havin the probs with this disc but i suppose it aint gonna hurt to try again anyway with the price xbox's are retailin at the now im prob best just buyin a new xbox. Or just save me pennies an get a 360! much obliged

Xbox 360 don't play Original Xbox games so if you want to play Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Buy a Original Xbox.

San Andreas in on the game compatability list, as are the whole GTA series. Don't believe everything that is posted. It plays great on the 360..

hmmm did not know you could play GTA on 360 thats news to me

@Crof27 GTA is a easy game to beat so why are you scared about losing your saves?

it took me 1 day and 2 hours to beat.... but i didnt play it the whole day!
