Help! How do I finalize a DVD-R

    I just recieved a Panasonic DMR-ES30V as a birthday gift. I have read and reread the instructions and for the life of me can not figure out how to finalize the DVDs that I have recorded. Any suggestions? This is the first DVD recorder I have ever owned. Thanks for your time and effort....Scot

    Most burning programs finalize the disc automatically.

    They do not play on any other player. That is why I thought I need to do something to the DVD. Still trying ......Scot
